Parked
A series sparked by something I spotted as I drove to work. There had been a spate of bad weather and some strong storms with lots of really heavy rainfall. The storms had cleaned the roads and washed all the dirt and detritus away except from underneath the parked cars where it seemed to be gathering. When spring arrived seeds collected in this dirt started to grow and patches of grass started to appear under the cars. As most of us locked down over 2020 - 2021 we stopped commuting so much and all saw the difference leaving our cars at home made. Now lockdown is lifting and commuting grinds back into action I wondered what could happen if we left our cars parked more often and let these little worlds under our cars develop.
